The position

Job description

If you are a (former) Developer / Network Administrator, passionned about understanding customer challenges and helping them with their resolution in order to drive adoption of our products, then this position is for you.

Hand in hand with the Global Services and Support team, your scope of action will include:

  • Support Sales team in pre-sales calls with prospective customers with demos and requirement gathering,
  • Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) after thorough analysis of the prospect’s requirements and definition of success criteria,
  • Ensure successful PoCs and help customers move into production,
  • Write or adapt migration scripts for data migration as part of the customer onboarding process,
  • Report and troubleshoot technical issues,
  • Share feedback requirements for new features to R&D,
  • Act as a bridge between customers and R&D to ensure that delivered features address customer needs.

Preferred experience

  • Quick learner
  • Native French / fully proficient in English (C1+ level)
  • 2+ years of experience in backend development (PHP, Python, bash scripting) and networks (load balancing, distributed computing, security, object storage)
  • 1+ year of experience as pre-sales engineer / solution engineer in a SaaS company, ideally B2B
  • Comfortable with high-end exposure to C-level executives, ability to build strong trusted relationships
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Passion for Cloud and SaaS products
  • Bachelor in Science degree is a nice-to-have, and a sense of humor is an absolute must

Recruitment process

  1. Meeting with our VP Global Service and Customer Support. If it’s a mutual fit, you’ll receive a short technical questionnaire to handover before step 2.

  2. Meeting with the Founders to discuss the daily life of a Solution Engineer at Scaleflex and introduce you to first case studies.
