As part of a global commercial team of 25 people, the Market Manager Southeast Asia will be responsible for the B2B sales development of Southeast Asia
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated professional with a solid travel industry background (ideally with rail experience), capable of building strong relationships with retail travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs, and national consortia.
Key missions include:
Creating business development plans and sales budgets
Growing local sales and consolidating the agency network
Establishing strategic partnerships (airlines, tourism offices, consortia…)
Rolling out a yearly marketing plan in coordination with central teams
Supporting local agencies with training, sales tools, and regular interactions
Develop new key accounts and partnerships with travel trade players
Strengthen existing agency and partner relationships
Conduct regular sales visits and product training sessions
Co-manage contracts, preferred partnerships, and incentives
Handle day-to-day requests from local GSAs and agencies (products, operations, accounting, group bookings, etc.)
Monitor sales trends and performance (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
Optimize travel budgets and client visit plans
Prepare and track sales/marketing campaigns (online and offline)
Organize and attend sales events, roadshows, trainings, FAM trips to Europe
Work with the marketing team to deliver newsletters, brochures, catalogues, etc.
Travel domestically and internationally several times a year
Perform other occasional tasks as required
Bachelor’s degree or above in tourism or related field
3+ years of experience in the travel industry (preferably in a mid-sized agency)
Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory
Native or fluent in Thai or Bahasa Melayu
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with social media tools, Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Organized, analytical, and capable of multitasking
Self-driven, responsible, and proactive mindset
Comfortable working under pressure and in multicultural environments
Prior experience traveling or studying in Europe is a strong advantage
