We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Quality Assurance Engineer with thefollowing responsibilities:
Test Design & Execution
o Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications
o Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability
Defect Tracking & Resolution
o Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or equivalent
o Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and validate fixes
Compliance & Standards
o Ensure software adheres to regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CE marking) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
o Contribute to risk management activities by identifying and mitigating potential quality risks
Automation
o Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to streamline regression testing
o Leverage tools such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent for automation
Continuous Improvement
o Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
o Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, providing input to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Documentation
o Prepare detailed QA documentation, including test reports, traceability matrices,verification and validation protocols
o Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reviews
You will be part of the R&D team and you will report to the Head of Engineering.
PROFILE:
• IT/computer sciences/healthcare informatics background preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in medical imaging, healthcare, or life sciences
• Organized and autonomous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Operational and proactive
• Curious, keen to learn and to work with a multidisciplinary team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Familiarity with regulatory standards applicable to medical devices (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of micro services (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with Information Systems Integration
• Technical project management
• Analytics skills
• GitLab + GitLab CI
PREFERRED:
• Knowledge of network configuration: TCP/IP, VPN
• Experience in brain imaging or medical imaging software (e.g., DICOM, NIfTI formats)
• Knowledge of neural network technologies or AI integration in imaging
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Certification in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB, ASQ)
