The position

Job description

We are looking for a talented Clinical Research Scientist motivated by transforming healthcare practices and outcomes for patients, with a strong scientific background and a real taste for applied clinical research. The goal is to launch and drive research studies both internally, at Qynapse, and externally with our key partners to demonstrate our products value & clinical impact.

Directly reporting to the Vice-President of Medical Imaging, your tasks will be to:

  • Design protocols for clinical and regulatory studies, supervise and take part in study execution

  • Conduct statistical analyses and interpret algorithmic results

  • Translate these findings into scientific publications and conference presentations

  • Identify and discuss new opportunities for relevant clinical studies with Key Opinions Leaders (KOLs)

  • Popularize results and extract relevant information to assist the marketing team

  • Provide feedback to the R&D team on product evolutions and performances

  • Support in client pitches and ongoing collaborations


Preferred experience

PROFILE:

  • PhD in the medical or life sciences fields with Neuroimaging, Neuroscience,
    or Neuropsychology preferred

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in study coordination in a clinical, academic or industry setting

  • A strong operational knowledge of the design of clinical trials in CNS

  • Strong operational knowledge in statistics and statistical software (e.g. R, SPSS, STATA).

  • Track record of publications in top-tier scientific journals and conferences

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally

SKILLS:

  • Focused, pragmatic, autonomous, dynamic, curious, and proactive

  • Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong reasoning abilities, rigor, and attention to detail

  • Knowledge on central nervous system diseases

  • Knowledge in neuroimaging data analysis

  • Knowledge in the scientific publication procedures

  • Machine learning background/understanding preferred

  • Fluent in English
