The position

Job description

We are looking for an exceptional lab technician excited to join our team. You’ll play a key role on our Lab Ops team, working closely with research scientists to push the boundaries of phage therapy. You will develop and execute innovative projects, applying phage therapy’s most advanced techniques to animal farming and participating in broadening Phagos’ applications and research expertise.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform routine microbiological tests with precision and efficiency

  • Culture bacteria, isolate and characterize phages

  • Collaborate with scientists to design and execute phage-based strategies targeting key pathogens

  • Follow and help refine protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, and reproducibility

  • Support the development, scale-up, and validation of innovative lab processes

  • Keep meticulous records and analyze experimental data


Preferred experience

  • Hands-on experience with microbiology techniques

  • Ability and willingness to work within a fast-paced, adaptive, collaborative environment

  • Knowledge/experience in phage biology is a plus

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Organized, self-motivated, and ready to learn

  • Minimum B2 English level (written & spoken)
