We are expanding our team in Information Security and therefore we are looking for an experienced Information Security Analyst. You can join one of our offices in Hradec Králové, Olomouc or Ostrava or work from your home. From time to time you may need to visit our main office in Hradec Králové.

What will you be doing?

The main role of an Information Security Analyst is to operate data and information security activities across Quadient, with the objectives of ensuring adequate information protection through adopting good practice policies and standards and mitigating threats from CyberCrime and accidental loss (e.g. systems failure). Your ability to communicate with other teams will be a key aspect in your success in this role.

  • Provide advice and guidance to teams across Quadient on Information Security policies & standards and how to apply good practices. Organize awareness communication campaigns to aid compliance with Information Security policies & standards and improve the safety of working practices.
  • Participate in the global audit process that performs an assessment of compliance to Information Security Policies & Standards. 
  • Operate the global Security Incident Management Process, with the emphasis on ensuring rapid reaction in the event of a security incident. Provide synthesis reports on these events and their follow-up.
  • Manage Information Security Risk assessments for major projects and monitor the application of the corresponding mitigation plan.
  • Take part in creating and maintaining Information Security policies & standards that establish company requirements, guidelines and expected behaviors in managing information securely..

What are the requirements?

  • Previous experience  (at least 2-3 years as a minimum) as an Information Security Analyst (or similar role) or IT operations involving security is essential
  • Previous experience of risk-based deployment of Information Security policies and standards is required, including knowledge of a standard security framework (e.g. ISO27001 or NIST)
  • Fluency in English and be able to lead a meeting
  • Experience from an international environment
  • Be ready to travel occasionally (once possible of course)
  • Basic project management skills
  • You need to be proactive and autonomous in the execution of allocated tasks

Nice to Have’s:

  • Experience in taking part in the definition of Information Security policies or standards, including organizing awareness training is desired, as is experienced in taking part in Information Security audits
  • Good knowledge and/or practical experience in the application of data privacy regulation (e.g. GDPR)
