We are seeking a seasoned Head of Marketing with experience in the software industry, ideally in a B2B SaaS company, working on a global scale.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and have a proven track record developing the marketing strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and position Qevlar AI as a future market leader in a new category.
Strategic marketing leadership: Manage and oversee the execution of Qevlar’s marketing efforts including overall strategy.
Product marketing: Effectively communicate our product’s value to cultivate and strengthen our position in a new category in the Cybersecurity space.
Field marketing: Define our tradeshow, conference, and events strategy and oversee its execution to generate new business and position Qevlar as a leader.
Team leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. The team is currently composed of a content marketer, a product marketer (joining soon), and a demand generation specialist.
Demand generation: Lead initiatives to generate qualified inbound leads through multi-channel campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, partnerships, and community.
ABM: Work hand-in-hand with our sales team to put in pace a high-impact ABM strategy.
Cross-team collaboration: Foster working relationships with the company’s leadership and drive collaboration between sales and product teams.
Product evangelism: Act as a key advocate for the product both internally and externally, including presenting at conferences, webinars, and other events.
Performance metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
We are seeking a top-tier candidate, technologist at heart:
8+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong background in the software industry, ideally in a B2B SaaS company.
Proven track record of positioning a company as a market leader through a product marketing strategy and generating inbound demand.
Experience in the US market is a must-have, ideally with experience in the UK and EMEA region as well.
Experience in building, structuring, and scaling marketing teams.
Results-focused with a strong orientation toward data-driven, KPI-centric decision-making.
Able to function in an early-stage environment.
Native or bilingual English level.
