As a Senior Technical Marketing Manager at Portworx, you will develop and execute technical marketing functions for Pure’s Cloud Native Business Unit. We are looking for an extremely technical and business savvy leader to deliver hands-on labs, write blogs and record demo videos, perform competitive intelligence/positioning, field/partner enablement and technical benchmarking in the cloud native ecosystem. A deep understanding of container/cloud native storage use cases and challenges is important for success in this role; as we help the world’s biggest brands and companies simplify and build a data platform for their modern applications.
This role reports into the Director of Technical Marketing for Portworx and has the primary responsibility for evangelizing the Portworx platform as part of Pure’s cloud native solutions. This individual would drive market awareness and adoption of the Portworx portfolio by developing technical and innovative content, as well as documenting real-world use cases and enabling the Portworx technical selling team of Cloud Native Architects. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate an understanding of the modern cloud native stack (Kubernetes, open-source data services, CSI storage plugins, etc.) and modern data protection, and be able to translate them into relatable, consumable content for customers as well as Pure’s sales teams. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will collaborate with other product marketing leads, product management, technical marketing, demand generation, sales, and corporate marketing to build and execute evangelism and competitive strategy for the entire Portworx portfolio. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
You will be based in Santa Clara. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
The annual base salary range is: $167,000 – $251,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
