THE ROLE Join the Business Unit FP&A team as a highly visible Senior Finance Manager to drive strategic investment decisions across our entire R&D portfolio and product teams. You will be the financial leader responsible for short- and medium-term planning and forecasting, evaluating returns on investment, and prioritizing capital allocation to maintain our technological leadership. This role offers a strong springboard for career growth by requiring partnership across the R&D organization, and multiple Finance teams (Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive and own the short- and medium-term planning and forecasting for operating expenses, capital, and headcount in partnership with R&D, Talent Acquisition, and other finance teams.
- Lead the global top-line forecasting from pipeline-to-bookings across Pure's core and emerging markets, providing granular metric reconciliation and using high-impact visuals to tell the story of business performance.
- Own cloud spend monitoring, optimization, and reporting, actively identifying and driving operational efficiencies to ensure maximum return on our technology investments.
- Partner with Business Unit and GTM leadership to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide deep insights, enabling strategic decision-making aligned with our financial and strategic plans.
- Drive critical process and system improvements to better align our multiple financial processes, ensuring scalable and accurate reporting and analysis.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Expert-level proficiency in financial analysis and modeling, demonstrated by advanced skills in Excel and experience in high-growth FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a similar rigorous financial function.
- Proven experience owning and driving complex planning processes (annual and long-range), particularly in a fast-paced environment supporting R&D, Product, or technology Business Units.
- Exceptional cross-functional partnership and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, negotiate, and communicate complex financial concepts to all levels of management and non-finance teams.
- Highly motivated and self-directed work ethic to independently manage multiple, often ambiguous priorities, driving projects to completion and championing system and process improvements.
- Strong storytelling capability to translate granular financial data and complex top-line metrics into compelling, actionable business insights for senior leaders.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
