Support functions
Support functions are the quiet pillars of our organization. They are always present, ready to resolve issues or streamline processes. HR, finance, legal, IT, data, web, or internal communications—they respond quickly, find solutions, and ensure everyone can focus on their core work. Their availability and attentiveness create a smooth and reassuring environment, where teams can move forward confidently and dedicate themselves fully to their projects.
Meet Marjory, Talent Recruiter - PULLUP Entertainment
I am a Talent Recruiter at Pullup Entertainment, which I joined in 2019 after two years in recruitment within investment banking.
Alongside a multidisciplinary HR team of five, I manage the entire recruitment process, from defining needs to onboarding, with the goal of building engaged, inclusive teams aligned with our company culture. I stumbled into the video game industry by chance and discovered a fascinating world where diverse backgrounds and personalities are what make our projects truly rich and unique.
“Dare to apply! We’re not just looking for gamers. Our strength lies in our diversity.”
Marjory, Talent Recruiter
Production teams
Production teams are at the heart of our projects. They coordinate the different stages, monitor schedules, and ensure that games progress under the best possible conditions. They streamline communication, anticipate unexpected challenges, and support creative teams so they can stay focused on what really matters. Their role is to turn an idea into a polished experience within a clear and well-managed framework.
“We are the guardians of the studios’ vision.”
Océane, QA Analyst
Meet Christian, Head of Production - Dotemu
I am Head of Production at Dotemu. I joined the company as a final-year intern in March 2012, starting as a mobile developer before moving into a producer role, working on projects such as Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.
Since the team expanded, I have taken on a more managerial role as head of the production department, where my main responsibility is to support all producers in effectively managing their projects.
Meet Océane, QA Analyst - Focus Entertainment
I have been a QA Analyst at Focus Entertainment since June 2025. After working as a Game Designer and QA on the studio side for numerous narrative games, I decided to join QA on the publishing side. In my team, we are the guardians of developers’ ideas and stories, ensuring that every emotion and detail reaches players faithfully.
Development teams
Our development teams design games in their entirety: technical architecture, gameplay, art direction, storytelling, interfaces, and more. Each of our studios stands out for its unique game style and distinctive artistic touch. The creative freedom of our teams fosters originality, while the sharing of expertise across studios allows the best ideas to circulate. This diversity and collaborative approach enrich the variety and quality of our game catalog.
Marketing teams
Working closely with the studios, our marketing teams design campaigns that excite, plan meticulously timed launches, and ensure each game reaches its audience. Between briefs, idea exchanges, and last-minute adjustments, they collaborate hand in hand with the creatives to tell the story behind each project and share it with the right audience at the right time. Their daily work blends responsiveness, creativity, and close collaboration with the teams.
Meet Nicolas, Chief Marketing Officer - Focus Entertainment
I am Chief Marketing Officer at Focus Entertainment, which I joined in May 2024 after more than 10 years in entertainment marketing. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to grow through various roles, from Brand Manager to senior marketing leadership positions.
Today at Focus, I lead and support all marketing and creative teams responsible for the communication campaigns—social media, influencer marketing, PR, paid media, strategy, and asset production—for the games published by Focus.
“The values we uphold and highlight in our marketing strategies are creative freedom and a culture of excellence.”
Nicolas, Chief Marketing Officer
Business teams
Business teams are the strategic architects of our projects. They identify, negotiate, and secure commercial opportunities, overseeing the acquisition of new games, their profitability, and distribution. They manage partnerships, licensing agreements, and go-to-market strategies. Working closely with development, marketing, and production teams, they ensure alignment between creative vision and business objectives, guaranteeing the success and longevity of each title.
Meet Gemma, Co-CEO - Dovetail Games
I started in HR and organisational development, but my role has grown to lead Commercial Operations, Marketing, Licensing, QA & Localisation, IT, People and Workplace functions. I believe in leading with empathy and ambition – and creating space for others to thrive. As our first female Board Director and a Board Member at Women in Games, I’m passionate about inclusion and helping more women build careers in games. I'm also a working parent, so I understand the challenge of balancing leadership and family life – and I’m committed to building a workplace that supports both.
“We are very proud to have received the Best Place to Work UK award this year.”
Gemma, Co-CEO
