What’s the job ?

Predictice is looking for a full-time Full-Stack developer to join the team in Paris. You will work on the team creating and improving services and tools that serve legal documents and their metadata. You will have ideally 3+ years of Web/Server development experience. You are updated on the Java ecosystem evolutions during last years about Spring, JHipster, Graal, Micronaut, etc. as well as some Front-End frameworks (VueJs, Angular, React). You are motivated, eager to learn, and proficient at overcoming technical difficulties. A plethora of tools and framework we are using can be found here.

What you will do

  • Design, prototype, implement, test and debug software in Java and in Javascript
  • Tune and optimize performance of the app, both Back End and Front End
  • Evaluate and propose technical changes for better scalability and code maintainability
  • Debug across systems including other services and mobile devices
  • Create and maintain unit tests for your code
  • Work with your team, product, marketing, and other engineers to move features through the development life-cycle
  • Ensure the quality of data exchanged between Back-End and Front-End services

Preferred experience

What we are looking for (musts)

  • Strong computer science fundamentals such as algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with the development of Java based APIs and microservices (Spring, Micronaut, Vertx, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Java and interest for alternative languages for the JVM (Scala/Kotlin)
  • Excellent problem solving ability and initiative
  • Careful attention to detail in writing, reviewing and testing code

Nice to have

  • Experience with ELK (Elasticsearch & friends)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Comfortable in English (for reading documentation and watching presentations)
