Senior Frontend Engineer - React/TypeScript

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our development team and lead the creation of exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern React ecosystems and a passion for crafting pixel-perfect, performant web applications. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions that delight our users.Location: EU-based candidates preferred, particularly France. Must have valid EU working rights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Implement server-side rendering solutions with frameworks like Next.js or Remix
• Collaborate with designers to transform Figma mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces
• Build and maintain reusable component libraries and contribute to design systems
• Integrate GraphQL APIs using modern clients (Apollo Client, Relay, or TanStack Query)
• Implement smooth animations and exceptional UX/UI experiences
• Write comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the team
• Ensure optimal application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of frontend development experience
• Strong expertise in React and at least one SSR framework (Next.js, Remix)
• Excellent TypeScript proficiency in frontend contexts
• Solid GraphQL experience with clients like Apollo Client, Relay, or TanStack Query
• Proficiency with CSS libraries such as Tailwind CSS or Styled Components
• Exceptional design sensibility with strong UX/UI and animation skills
• Expert-level HTML/CSS integration skills for pixel-perfect implementations from Figma designs
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Experience contributing to design systems or building component libraries
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• French: Conversational level
• English: C2 level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React Native and/or Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
• Knowledge of monorepo development challenges and solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience in startup or fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
