As an Operation Manager specializing in Technical Documentation at Powerling-DCT, you will play a crucial role in overseeing projects related to technical documentation creation, management, and publishing. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that address their documentation challenges while upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability. 

Key responsabilities

Production Planning and Execution: 

  • Develop detailed projects plans, schedules, and resource allocations for technical documentation projects, considering clients requirements and projects objectives. 

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including writers, editors, designers, and subject matter experts, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of deliverables. 

  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address any issues or deviations from the plan to keep projects on schedule and within scope. 

Stakeholder Collaboration: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their technical documentation needs and providing strategic guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, expectations, and deliverables. 

  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services to meet evolving client needs and drive business growth. 

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: 

  • Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for technical documentation projects, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and client specifications. 

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of project deliverables to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. 

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in technical documentation, recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

 European management collaboration: 

  • Lead DCT team members to achieve company objectives. 

  • Work closely with the managers of the Powerling Group to which Powerling-DCT belongs. (Europe Head of Sales, Europe Director, Global finance department, HR, etc.). 

  • Manage business reporting to Group headquarters.


Preferred experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in technical documentation or related fields. 

  • Strong understanding of technical documentation principles, tools, and methodologies. 

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
