The position

Job description

As Powder Growth intern, you’ll join our project for a 6-months professional experience starting from June/July 2022.

Responsibilities will cover:

Product growth

Growth experiments. Brainstorming, curating, tracking and implementing ‘Growth experiments’ for the Powder platform, i.e. ideas that, once implemented, are likely to increase our virality and our retention.
Creators interviews. Preparing for, setting up and holding interviews with gaming creators, to understand their workflow and how we as a platform can help them improve their tooling, monetization, and distribution.
Feedback analysis. Syndicating feedback coming from creators interviews, App Store / Play Store reviews, our Discord server, and surveys we distribute to our audience, in our Feedback Pipeline; analyzing this feedback on a weekly basis to summarize it clearly to the product team.
Competitive analysis. Analyzing our competitive landscape to understand how other platforms try to solve the same problems as us; tie to feedback analysis to understand which platforms we can learn the most from.

Growth marketing

Go-to-market. Defining the best way to bring features of our platform to the market and implementing recommendations.
Creators onboarding. Being in contact with large creators joining our platform.
Monetization strategy. Collaboratively with our creators, designing and implementing our monetization strategy: business model, infrastructure, competitive positioning, etc.
User acquisition. Implementing and improving on user acquisition advertising campaigns on mobile networks, e.g. TikTok, Instagram, Snap, etc.

Partnerships

Inbound marketing. Creating and disseminating quality content documenting the value of our platform to creators, studios, and the broader market.
Outbound marketing. Reaching out to creators, game studios, esport teams and esport competition organizers to create interest for our platform and negotiate partnerships.
Conference planning. Preparing our participation to industry conferences, e.g. the Game Developers Conference (GDC) or Gamescom.


Preferred experience

  • Currently studying in a leading business or engineering school;
  • Experience studying and/or implementing growth strategies;
  • Analytical, strong focus on rigor;
  • Interest in startups and Artificial Intelligence;
  • Ability to take the initiative and employ good judgment;
  • Fluency in English.
