The position

Job description

As pony’s Chief of Staff you will actively support the CEO and COO in scaling pony in the coming years, owning our OKR management system, tracking KPIs, structuring executive routines, and managing initiatives across business units towards achieving strategic company goals. You will also work yourself on high priority projects, such as identifying new business opportunities, fixing important operational issues or M&A opportunities.

Typical responsibilities

  • Accompany COO and CEO in managing and ensuring excellence of operation
  • Structure and own the good execution of executive routines across the company
  • Set up and own our OKR management system and make sure everyone reports on advancement and performance
  • Set up internal cost controlling KPIs, track budget compliance across pony’s business units and be responsible for producing monthly financial reports and reforecast
  • Support COO and CEO with weekly and day to day prioritisation, provide a weekly review of business KPIs, help with important meeting preparation (memos, ad hoc analysis)
  • Increase the effectiveness of COO and CEO, cascading initiatives down at all levels
  • Help prepare Board & Excom presentations, as well as financial reports & memos to be communicated to our shareholders
  • Follow up on all strategic meetings and make sure decisions are acted upon
  • Make sure all stakeholders are aligned on strategic projects and report on advancement and performance
  • Support CEO with fundraising effort

Preferred experience

Profile

  • 2-5 years experience in a top tier consulting firm

  • Top tier University, Engineering School or Business School

  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning

  • Deep systemic thinking and business acumen

  • Strong organisational skills and clear summarisation capabilities

  • Competency in reading, understanding, producing and analysing typical financial statements (P&L and Balance sheet)

  • Genuine interest in mobility, tech or environmental issues
