The position

Job description

At Phenix, you will go out to conquer Large-Medium-Proxy Retailers on the Belgium market, to extend our anti-waste solutions to more and more partners. You will focus primarily on selling our mobile Application.
As an account executive, you are a sales passionate, with a strong track record in retail, willing to give its persuasive power to a good cause

Your missions :

Business development

  • Identify and map key partners in retail, map relevant prospects Food Retailers and Franchises.
  • Extend network of partners by prospecting in the field (store visits)
  • Hack new accounts by prospecting online and with growth tools
  • Negociate and close contracts
  • After closing a contract, assist customer to roll-out the tools

Account Management

  • Ensure good and long term collaboration with partners
  • Visit and follow-up the accounts
  • Up-sell your accounts and extend our partnership to other services

Industry expertise

  • Be or become an expert of the food-retail functioning: internal process, decision making, challenges, key people
  • Extend network of contacts by participating in events, fairs, etc.

Preferred experience

  • Fluent in Dutch and French
    • 2 years of proven experience in sales or key account management
  • You are a hunter, who is energized by a “no” and prospection does not scare you
  • Great persuasive force along with good listening
  • You have an excellent relationship with clients, and your are comfortable dealing with both senior and junior managers
  • Great organization skills, and at ease with digital tool
  • You are familiar with the food industry and food-retail in particular
  • You have a good knowledge of large organizations and retailers and you navigate easily within complex structures

You will have to spend at least 2 days a week on the field in Belgium. For the rest of the week, you can stay in our office in Brussels, Lille or Paris.
