The position

Job description

We launched our B2C App in Belgium a few months ago, starting operating in Brussel. We are looking for a trainee business developer to help us spread the anti-waste message.

Your missions
Within the sales team of Phenix and in support of the business developers, you are in charge of sourcing and onboarding new partners (shops, restaurants, … ) to join the app in your geographical area. You will implement food waste management solutions with them.

As a real expert of your city, your goal is to target the local shops with most waste and with demand from our user base, to present them our zero food waste application. Your role is to build solid partnerships with a growing number of clients.

With the support of your manager, and your peers, your key missions will be to:

  • Identify and build a portfolio of prospects
  • Conduct on-going phone or on the field prospection, and sales meetings to convince local shops to join the movement, and publish their unsold food on the Phenix app
  • Onboard shops on the app and train them on our back-office tools
  • Manage incoming calls in your region
  • Be able to track and report information collected on the field, during your discussions with potential partners
  • Monitor your daily activity in Salesforce, to attain your monthly objectives
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of sales techniques and strategy by providing ongoing feedback

Preferred experience

  • Fluency in French
  • You like sales tasks and you have an excellent relationship with clients
  • Great persuasive force along with good listening
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy and reliability
  • You are a hunter, a “NO” does not scare you
  • Comfortable with digital tools
  • Previous experience in sales, field prospection or sales prospection would be a plus

Profile: desired

  • You already have B2B2C / Mobile App experience
  • You speak dutch !
