We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our team!!
In this exciting role, you will leverage the toolset developed by our data scientists, combined with biological data generated directly by our wet lab team.
Your mission will be to extract meaningful insights that enhance the impact of our AI tools, identify areas for improvement, and ultimately contribute to use bacteriophages to defeat antibiotic resistance!

This position is perfect for someone who thrives on challenges!
You’ll work with large, complex biological datasets – a mix of experimental results from the lab and AI-generated data. Navigating the unique complexities of this data is challenging, but the rewards are immense. Crucial “secrets” about bacteriophages and their host interactions lie hidden within, waiting for your analytical skills to unlock them!

We are looking for candidates who possess:

- A Master’s degree or a PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Computational Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar).

- Proficiency in Python, particularly with scientific computing libraries (such as NumPy, Pandas/Polars, Scikit-learn) and data visualization tools (e.g., Altair, Plotly, Matplotlib).

- Strong analytical capabilities grounded in solid mathematical and statistical knowledge.

- The ability to critically evaluate data, generate robust insights backed by sound statistical methods and models, and autonomously navigate situations when multiple analytical approaches are acceptable.

- Excellent communication skills to clearly present findings and complex results.

- A strong interest in the interplay of biology and artificial intelligence is essential. Previous experience analyzing biological, AI-related data is a significant advantage.

- A collaborative spirit: As part of a small, rapidly expanding team, transparent communication, mutual respect, and a supportive attitude are crucial.
