Job description

Do you want to join a large French company with iconic brands? Join Pernod Ricard’s Purchasing team as the next Raw Materials Sustainable Procurement Intern, starting in July  2024. The main missions of this position are to assist the Global Category Manager in her mission, with a specific focus on Sustainability and Responsibility (S&R) : traceability & certification of raw materials, carbon & water footprints, ESG compliance among others. The procurement scope is regarding the key Global Raw materials of Pernod Ricard: alcohol, sugars, cereals, botanicals & flavors…etc

Your key missions

Raw materials Compliance vs S&R roadmap :

  • Collect KPI for S&R roadmap (raw material traceability, certification, GHG reduction initiatives, environmental/social risks scores…)
  • Contribute to risk assessment & mitigation of key raw materials in relation to environmental & social aspects
  • Monitor & engage internal stakeholders (especially local procurement teams & suppliers) towards raw materials S&R targets

Core suppliers Compliance vs Due Diligence:

  • Ensure compliance Core suppliers vs internal Due diligence process

  •  Monitor & engage internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Responsible Procurement principles

Support Global Raw Materials Procurement Strategy development:

  • Helps structure the category management for key raw materials

  • Generate clear & concise presentations per sub-category
  • Map available certified raw materials with suppliers & identify cost impact
  • Support contractualization for Regenerative agriculture projects

If you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply!   

You have a degree in agronomy, science, engineer, sustainability.Proficiency in data analyses. The ideal candidate would have strong interest and understanding of sustainability principles.

You have at least one experience related to food engineering or agriculture or equivalent fields. Nice to have: raw material sourcing/procurement experience, international company experience.

You speak fluently English, French is a plus.

Please note: to apply, you must be available for a 6-month internship and have an agreement issued by your school/university.
