Why We Need You 🚀
We’re building the next generation of Perifit products — smarter, smaller, and even more empowering. We’re looking for a Senior Electronic Engineer to lead the electrical design of our low-power, connected, and sensor-rich devices.
You’ll play a central role in designing, validating, and industrializing electronic systems for both existing products and brand new developments. You’ll work closely with our firmware, mechanical, and industrialization teams — and take full ownership of the electronics domain, from early prototypes to mass production.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead the electronics design of new and existing Perifit products — including our next-generation wearable breast pump and pelvic trainers.
Own schematics, layout, and BOM optimization for low-power, battery-operated, Bluetooth-connected devices.
Design and validate circuits for signal acquisition, BLE communication, motor control, and sensor interfaces — focusing on ultra-low current and low-voltage performance.
Build and test functional prototypes to evaluate signal integrity, noise, and power consumption.
Perform initial firmware work (bare-metal or with SDKs) to validate hardware performance and integration.
Collaborate with mechanical and firmware engineers to ensure optimal component placement, enclosure integration, and system-level reliability.
Manage relationships with PCBA suppliers and EMS partners — including DFM review, factory communication, and occasional travel to China.
Support Customer Service and Quality teams by investigating technical issues reported by users, identifying root causes, and contributing to product improvements.
Support EMC/CE/FCC pre-compliance and certification testing.
What Hard Skills We Need to See 🛠️
Electronics Design Expertise: Strong skills in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools like Altium, KiCad, or similar. Proven experience in low-power system design and wireless devices.
Power and Signal Proficiency: Solid knowledge of battery-powered electronics, motor drivers, signal conditioning, and ultra-low-current digital circuits.
BLE and Wireless: Familiarity with BLE modules, RF layout basics, antenna integration, and debugging wireless performance.
Prototyping & Debugging: Experience bringing up new boards, running basic firmware tests, debugging hardware issues with scopes, analyzers, and test jigs.
Manufacturing and DFM: Comfortable working with overseas PCBA suppliers to ensure production-quality builds and scalable, testable designs.
Documentation & Certification: Ability to create thorough documentation and contribute to product compliance efforts (EMC/CE/FCC).
What Kind of Person We Are Looking For 👤
Builder & Debugger: You love turning circuits into reality, figuring out why something isn’t working, and improving it until it shines.
Cross-functional Collaborator: You communicate clearly with mechanical, firmware, and product teams — and enjoy working together to solve system-level challenges.
Autonomous and Structured: You’re organized, proactive, and able to take full ownership of your scope without constant oversight.
You are a feminist: You believe every woman deserves access to innovative health solutions. You’re comfortable working on intimate health topics and excited to contribute to positive change.
You Will Shine If ✨
You’ve brought at least one full product to mass production, handling layout, design review, supplier interface, and electrical testing.
You’ve worked on wearable, IoT, or battery-powered consumer products with tight constraints on size, power, and performance.
You’ve implemented or tuned BLE antennas, motor drivers, or ultra-low-power sleep modes.
You enjoy taking a hands-on approach to validation, measurement, and iteration, with an eye for reliability and elegance. Why This Is an Offer You Can’t Refuse 🎉
