Are you looking for a work environment that values trust, proactivity, and autonomy?

Are our Engineering principles aligned with your vision?

Then Pennylane is the right place for you !

Our vision

We aim to become the most beloved financial Operating System of French SMEs and Accounting Firms (and soon, European ones).

We help entrepreneurs rid themselves of time-consuming tasks related to accounting and finance while providing them with access to key financial information to assist in making the best decisions for their business.

About us

Pennylane is one of the fastest growing Fintechs in France (and soon to be in Europe!)

In 5 years of existence, we’ve managed to :

💻 Make ourselves known as a groundbreaking accounting and financial software for small businesses and their accountants

💰 Raise a total of €225 millions, including from Sequoia, the famous fund from the Silicon Valley who invested early in companies like Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Stripe, Paypal and much more...

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Grow from 7 cofounders to 800 happy Pennylaners : we’re now recognized as one of the greatest places to work in France (and also remotely), with a 4.6/5 rating on Glassdoor.

🌍 Build an international environment with more than 25 nationalities, with a strong remote-friendly culture, where 30% of the employees are already working from all parts of Europe

🤝 Earn the trust of thousands of customers and accounting firms and obtain outstanding ratings

🚀 Already more than 500,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and over 5000 accounting firms use Pennylane in France!

Role purpose

Lead the education delivery system and help make Pennylane users autonomous at scale. You set direction, orchestrate priorities, and ensure education ships with every major release—fast, consistent, and measured—across Help Center, Academy, Forum, in‑app, and program assets. You proactively collect needs, define priorities, set objectives, orchestrate production, and measure impact. You own the full content lifecycle, the standards, and the continuous improvement that keeps us ahead as we scale.

Missions and responsibilities

1) Set the User education delivery strategy

- Define the quarterly education roadmap in partnership with Product, Education Programs, and Business teams

- Identify opportunities to improve user autonomy through new formats, channels, or workflows

- Drive innovation projects: experimentation (A/B tests), new learning formats (interactive, AI-assisted), process improvements

- Make trade-offs visible: prioritize ruthlessly across competing demands and communicate the "why"

2) Build the education delivery system and lead the people who power it

- Manage and coach Education Partners; hire, onboard, and grow the team.

- Plan capacity and coverage across product squads and Education Programs.

- Run rituals (planning, stand‑ups, QA, retros).

- Build and run the external partners pipeline (suppliers, writers, instructional designers)

- Define SLAs and acceptance criteria for content production

3) Orchestrate and scale the content lifecycle (end‑to‑end owner)

- Drive the end‑to‑end content lifecycle using the “Source → Build → Delivery” model.

- Create and maintain templates, tone/voice, accessibility, taxonomy, and the central library.

- Define and enforce Education Definition of Done on Tier‑1 releases (in‑app + HC + Academy + metrics).

- With our Ops teams, build scalable processes to gather needs, publish updates, and collect feedback.

4) Measurement and ROI

- With the Analyst/Growth: dashboards for cycle time, reuse, externalization, acceptance/defects; trained vs untrained outcomes (deflection, adoption).

- Publish a monthly Content Ops report and a quarterly “education impact” pack.

Your mission (Recap)

- Set the content vision, translate it into a quarterly operating plan, and align stakeholders.

- Monitor content production with the internal Education partners and external freelancers.

- Make hard trade‑offs: decide what we do now, next, or never—and explain why.

- Build people and capabilities: coach, hire, and develop a high‑trust, high‑standards team.

- Be the single accountable owner for quality, speed, and outcomes of the content function.

- Represent Education with Product and Business leaders and protect the bar.

Profile we’re looking for

- Solid experience in content operations/learning content/product content in B2B SaaS; proven team leadership (hiring, coaching, performance)

- Built a scaled production system (templates, QA, governance, processes) across multiple formats and channels.

- Vendor management (SLAs, QA, budgets) and experience with LLM‑assisted workflows.

- Strong editor and systems thinker; knows how to make external writers productive and consistent.

- Data‑driven; fluent with dashboards and data-driven decisions.

- Excellent collaboration with Product, PMM, and CS;

- French native/near‑native and English professional.

Nice to have

- Help Center/CMS, LMS/Academy, Community; fintech/accounting exposure.

- Tools you likely use: CMS/Help Center, LMS/Academy (we use Learnworlds), Community, analytics (Metabase), Notion, Content Creation tools (Parta.io), video/editing tools (Camtasia).

Interview approach

Step 1 - First interview with Simon (Talent Acquisition)

Step 2 - Who interview with Simona (Head of Education)

Step 3 - Case Study with Manon, Simona, Olivia

Step 4 - Team Fit call with 2 team members
