You will be joining a company providing :

• A personalized and effortless rewards experience in consumer daily banking applications (+1M users)

PayLead is privately held – 10M€ in total funding so far. We are a close team of 40 with solid backgrounds, coming from successful high growth companies (including Algolia, Doctolib, OVH, Mastercard, People Doc, Stuart, Axa, Orange, P&G).

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As previously mentioned, Paylead’s core business is valuing bank transaction data for our users, banks or re/etailers. Volume and sparsity of this data obviously require to use advanced data collection, data engineering and data science techniques. But we also need people able to understand and communicate (to our partners or internally) the numbers coming out of our engines. In this context our data team is expanding and we are now looking for a new data analyst intern.

Your main responsibilities will be to :

• Validate positive impacts of our algorithms released by Data Scientists
• Be the guardian of the quality and enrichment of the data
• Improve and maintain our KPIs & Dashboards tool (Metabase)
• Perform ad-hoc analysis: study the impact of PayLead’s program on its banks and fintechs partners, conducting in-depth studies for top management

• Suggest and write quantitative studies from large data sets for our community and prospects :

  • PayLead Pulse : La consommation des ados

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Comfortable with numbers, stats and mental math
• Curiosity
• Rigor
• At least one experience with a BI tool (Tableau, Miscrosoft BI, Looker or Metabase)
• Familiar with SQL and Python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib)
• Basic knowledge or discovery courses on machine learning models
• Currently looking for an internship end of program for a Master’s Degree in Statistics/Economics
