Your mission: Guarantee impact on payroll ✨

Get onboard the PayFit rocket by joining our Jetlang Platform Payroll team as a Confirmed Software Engineer.

The objective of the squad is to ensure our clients can close (and reopen) their payroll reliably and on time by providing scalable solution to the local teams, scaling with PayFit's growth. 

Your mission if you accept it will be to:

• Deliver value through software in the long, medium and short term

• Ensure production’s reliability

• Design scalable architecture for the integration with PayFit’s low code platform with the team

• Collaborate across multiple teams

• Tackle the challenges of a distributed system

For the day-to-day work, we use 🧰

• Technical stack: TypeScript, Node.js, DataDog, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, MongoDB, GraphQL, CircleCI, ArgoCD, NestJS, Terraform

• Code collaboration: GitHub

• Project and knowledge management: JIRA, Notion, Miro, Whimsical

• Communication: Slack, Zoom, Meet, Discord

• Not afraid of changing legacy code

• Impact driven

• Willingness to code in JS/TS

• Proficient in English

We would be impressed if you (it’s not required): 

• know what is DDD

• have already shown leadership in a project

• know AWS (or another cloud provider)

Hiring process ⚙️

1️⃣ Validation of the application

2️⃣ HR Telephone interview (30 min)

3️⃣ Interview with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager (1h)

4️⃣ Pair programming session with and conversation with one (or a couple of) team member(s) (1h30)

5️⃣ Meet the Director of Engineering (30 min) 

All interviews and meetings can be conducted remotely.
