The position

Job description

  • You work on Android Automotive OS together with our client, an international tier 1 supplier, and Google

  • You take a lead role for the development of functionalities in the service layer / middle ware of the Android Automotive OS

  • You take responsibilities in a team comprising of developers, architects, DevOps engineers and testers

  • You discuss technical solutions with the stakeholders on the side of our client

  • You discuss requirements with our customers, prioritize the backlog and (re-)write them as user stories

  • You interface with our HMI development team in Cluj, Romania and our HMI team in France

Preferred experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology 

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software development

  • Knowledge of Android Kotlin language

  • knowledge of Java programming language

  • Knowledge of C++

  • Good working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA tools

  • English and French language are mandatory

  • Eager to learn new technologies and share knowledge with colleagues

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer

  • Previous working experience in the Automotive field is considered a plus

  • Previous working experience with CAN Tools (CANoe/ CANalyzer/ CANape) is considered a plus
