We’re launching a new business unit withinOtium Leisure Group, a top entertainment company in France (escape games, VR adventures etc.), managing hundreds of Points of Sale (PoS) and employing over 300 people across Europe and the US in the fast-growing immersive exhibition industry.

Our goal is to dominate this market globally in the coming years!

Job Summary

We are searching for someone who can support our expansion and operations activities in the first year and assist in rapidly scaling our team from 2025 onwards.

We are looking for an energetic Expansion and Operations manager to lead the rollout of 100 new immersive exhibition spaces across Europe and the US.

This position involves overseeing the entire development cycle, from initial planning (including site selection, negotiations, setup, and ensuring permits and licences) through to the establishment phase (inauguration) and optimizing business tools and operational processes to maximize efficiency and profitability.

A key focus will be on scalability, ensuring the ability to expand rapidly while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

Expansion

  • Define expansion strategy, identifying key markets and locations for new locations.

  • Conduct research and data gathering to identify the best areas and tour possible locations.

  • Negotiate the best terms for the company and finalization of related documents (lease etc.).

  • Coordinate stakeholders (contractors for fit-out work / authorities for permits) for openings.

  • Manage launch from site selection and leases negotiations to construction and opening.

  • Develop a roll-out playbook (franchise-like standards).

  • Build long-term relationship with partners.

  • Implement standard procedures for PoS setup and launch.

  • Support the CEO in hiring, especially for PoS Manager roles.

Operations

  • Facilitate the establishment of the first 2 PoS, covering hiring, training, and support.

  • Assess and optimize operations and tools for better efficiency and profit.

  • Collaborate with teams to refine operations using best practices and innovative solutions.

  • Continuously monitor and improve performance.

  • Create operating playbooks and establish key processes.

  • Help design the target operating model and build / hire the operations team.


Preferred experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience including (list non exhaustive):

    • Senior roles within Management & Strategy consulting, specialized in sales/operations.

    • Development and implementation of retail expansion strategies.

    • Experience in launching retail outlets, with a min. of 5 PoS.

    • Oversight of facilities or public venues, managing spaces +1000 sqm. across various sites.

    • Involvement in real estate development projects.

  • Languages: Fluent in English & French.

  • Profile :

    • Experience in launching location-based entertainment venues.

    • Management of traveling exhibitions, museums, events, and shows.

    • Comprehensive knowledge of the US entertainment industry.

    • Professional experience in international markets.

    • Proficiency in negotiating key lease terms.

    • Fluent in Spanish with professional working proficiency.

  • Location : based in Madrid (Spain 🇪🇸) with remote work option.

  • Travel : willing to travel within Europe and the US.
