ORIS

1-2 focused squads drive one core feature at a time, iterating fast and delivering real impact by collaborating with all business units, from engineering to product to development.

We use Kanban to keep work flowing smoothly and stay transparent. Daily standups keep everyone synced, and weekly reviews let us demo progress, get quick feedback, and push to production. Tickets are tracked in JIRA.

Most of the communication happens Slack or using google meet.

When we want to test bold ideas or explore new directions, extra squads spin up to prototype fast and extend the vision.

Projects and tech challenges

ORIS

The Data Pipeline implementation takes advantage of artificial intelligence and machine learning models on geospatial data. We use specific pipelines and models to i.e. identify construction material production sites, and classify them. The generated dataset is then enriched with data from multiple sources.
As the location of sites can highly impacts the transportation cost and CO2 footprint, increasing the precision and exhaustivity is a key challenge. This project enables faster deployment of ORIS and better quality of our product.

ORIS

At ORIS, our platform is built on a modern microservice (Java Spring Boot on Kubernetes) and microfrontend (TypeScript + React) architecture. This foundation powers our CO₂ assessment capabilities, enabling us to deliver new features rapidly, reliably, and with exceptional quality. Our decomposed architecture enhances scalability, performance, and flexibility to innovate faster.

A key part of our current challenge is to validate product hypotheses quickly by building AI prototypes, and to embed AI capabilities directly into the platform to streamline and enhance the carbon assessment process. This approach allows us to combine cutting-edge architecture with intelligent automation, pushing the boundaries of sustainable infrastructure design.

Recruitment process

We are constantly and rapidly growing, which is why our recruitment process is short and reactive for a secure hiring as soon as possible:

  • Pre-qualification by phone with the manager or the HR department
  • 2 interviews: one with the manager and an expert, the other with the HR department and one of the managers
  • Negative answer by email within 5 days. Positive response by phone and email within 3 days
