Your Mission: Opening New Frontiers. As an International Business Developer, you will be the strategic partner to the founder. Your role goes beyond traditional sales: you are a market builder. You will identify, infiltrate, and sign distributors across new verticals and geographies to establish OpenClimat as an essential standard in Europe.
Mapping & Conquest: Map complex ecosystems and identify “backdoor” routes (networks, C-Level intros, influencers) to sign strategic accounts.
Trusted Advisor Posture: Build relationships of absolute trust with both high-level stakeholders and operational teams. You don’t just sell a solution; you become their partner.
Opportunity Engineering: You don’t just manage the pipeline; you create it. You will organize exclusive events, speak at conferences, and transform current members into active ambassadors (network effect).
Excellence & Scalability: Automate your workflows (AI, CRM, Growth tools) to remain focused on human relationships. You will document your successes to build the OpenClimat “Expansion Playbook.”
Systemic Impact: Use your skills and ambition to drive deep-rooted change and sustainably transform the economy. OpenClimat already has 100MTCO2e “under management” (1/6th of France’s carbon footprint). Every new distributor signed means hundreds of associated suppliers onboarded and millions more tons to reduce through collaboration.

Base Salary: €55k — €70k (depending on profile and experience).
Variable: €25k — €40k (based on Revenue/ARR targets + strategic markets).
Location: Paris with strategic travel across Europe.
Experience: 5 to 8 years in demanding environments (Scale-up, Consulting, Business Development, or complex entrepreneurship). You have already “opened” an international market or a sector vertical from scratch.
Relational Intelligence & Active Listening: You have a rare ability to decode the unspoken challenges of an organization. You know how to establish immediate trust and navigate complex structures with diplomacy.
“Networker” Mindset: You know that a straight line isn’t always the shortest path. You are a master at leveraging your network to unlock closed doors.
Executive Rigor: You engage with C-Level executives. Your delivery is impactful, prepared, and thoughtful; your writing is impeccable and your reliability is absolute.
Tech & AI Savvy: You master modern automation and collaboration tools. You know how to scale your efforts without ever losing the personalized, human touch.
Languages: Bilingual (French/English). Fluency in a third language (German or Spanish) is a major asset for our European expansion.
