The role of DevOps Engineer is key in the development of OCUS. You will be in charge of defining and implementing the system architecture (provisioning, deployment, scripting), as well as guaranteeing the automation of the production release of applications (releases, commits) and their proper functioning.
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be embedded in the development team, under the responsibility of the Engineering Manager, you will:
Contribute to the design of the overall architecture, its implementation, security and compliance policies.
Contribute to the maintenance of the high availability, high scalability and low latency characteristics of our infrastructure.
Define traffic optimization procedures (load balancing, in particular)
Design and implementation of the provisioning and deployment policy
Define automated replication and backup procedures
Implement maintenance and update policies
Manage our monitoring and alerting systems
Manage the continuous integration and continuous deployment of our infrastructure
Help us on the elaboration of the topology of the different private networks. Deployment of tools for internal use such as VPNs
Manage and administrate cloud network storage spaces
Optimization of asset delivery via CDN
Our current stack: K8S, Infra-as-code, AWS, MySQL, Redis and Elasticsearch.
You have at least 3 years of experience in the implementation of server infrastructures.
You master several Cloud environments (AWS, Google, Digital Ocean…).
You are comfortable with the basic tools of your daily life: Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Gitlab
You know the pros and cons of Docker (no, really…)
You know how to deploy PHP and Python applications, as well as the basic tools that come with these technologies (Composer, Yarn/Npm, git, etc.)
You are comfortable with setting up monitoring and alert procedures for your infrastructure.
Serious and rigorous, you are eager to learn and share your knowledge with the team.
