We are currently looking for a “Solutions Architect Security” to support the business in achieving its objectives.

The Solutions Architect is a technology driven specialist, focused on solutions but with in-depth product knowledge, who can build and maintain strong client relationships using technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations in Security solutions. This person is also seen as a trusted advisor to the client and will lead technical opportunities while being responsible for solution designs and collaborate with the rest of the Go-To market teams to develop business, portfolio and strategies. This role focusses on providing technical support and expertise in analysing client requirements, in conjunction with the client’s current security capabilities and ensure complex solutions will help the client evolve and accomplish its business objectives.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the development of complex solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.
• Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in cost, performance and scalability.
• Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions
• Contribute to business development: analyse product specifications for the development and extension of our products/applications/services portfolio
• Contribute in vendor and portfolio management: be the liaison officer for one or two vendors and get the NTT strategy aligned with the vendor’s objectives
• Participate in and/or lead scope of work definition in line with NTT’s project management methodology
• Understand the client’s environment and its technical and business needs
• Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in cost, performance, and scalability.
• Assist and/or Support hardware and software quotations with account teams
• Understand the services offering of NTT and position our portfolio at our clients 
• Monitors the evolution on the market to gather intelligence on emerging technologies
• Creates reports and technology roadmaps and shares knowledge, solutions updates and insights with others
• Reviews, verifies, and improves own designs against changing specifications
• Contribute to the development of new go to market services and contributes knowledge on relevant verticals
• Operate across both the technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain in order to develop holistic and integrated solutions

Here’s what we are looking for in candidates:

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or relevant expertise
• Multi-disciplinary IT background, in a large infrastructure outsourcing environment 
• Experience in Security products and understanding of industry best practices 
• Expertise in cloud security technologies is a bonus 
• Relevant vendor certifications (e.g. Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Zscaler, …)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• pre-sales experience or technical experience in this domain with commercial competencies
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain solid stakeholder relationships
• Ability to develop and leverage knowledge of reference architectures
• Ability to maintain knowledge of trends and development in technology domains
• Fluent in English, next to Dutch and/or French
