🌍 Strategic Growth at Novo Nordisk site Chartres 🏠I am proud to lead a site that plays a crucial role in Novo Nordisk's mission and our commitment to innovation and excellence. As the first site built outside Denmark and the largest private employer in Eure-et-Loir, our Chartres facility has seen continuous development since its establishment in 1961. Over the past 20 years, we have attracted approximately €630 million investments, and a historic €2.1 billion investment set for late 2023. This momentum has enabled us to grow from 1,250 employees in 2022 to nearly 1,900 today, with a projected workforce of over 2,000 by 2028-2030! 🎯 In an era marked by challenges such as deindustrialization in France, Chartres territory stands out with its unique trajectory—driven by our historical and diverse industrial presence and significant investments. Our goal is clear: to attract the necessary resources to successfully launch all equipment in 2028 while enhancing the attractiveness of industrial careers. We are dedicated to addressing ongoing misconceptions about the industry, supporting the role of women, and preparing for the future of production jobs in a dynamic work environment. 🤝 Through collaboration with key stakeholders in our community, including Chartres métropole, Préfecture d'Eure-et-Loir, CCI D'Eure-et-Loir, Centre-Val de Loire Region and various training organizations, we are committed to pooling our resources to find tailored solutions for our region. Together, we can make impactful strides toward continuing our legacy and fostering a thriving industrial landscape on the territory.
