The position

Job description

The responsibilities will be to:

  • Work closely with Creative Director to maintain the game vision with Game Design Progs, UX, and Level Design teams.
  • Supervise content; Core Mechanics, Game Systems, Game Loops to focus on player engagement and usability.
  • Work closely with the design team to define standards, best practices and to ensure the synergy between each team members.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to help to prioritize and plan all game features to help the team on reaching their respective milestones.
  • Mentoring a small-sized team of game designers.
  • Oversee the improvement of the gameplay experience’s quality through game specs and in-game reviews.
  • Work in co-development with Paris office.

Preferred experience

Must-have skills/experience:

  • Experience in a designer role in the video games industry with at least 2 shipped projects;
  • An experience in User Generated Content gameplays, and end-user editors design
  • An experience in multiplayer games design
  • An understanding of game flow and scripting, knowledge of prototyping software;
  • Ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to other designers;
  • Ability to work independently and produce excellent results despite technical limitations and time constraints;
  • Experience in working in a team in a fast-paced, iterative and agile professional environment;
  • Problem-solving and open-minded;
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change;
  • Strong leadership skills, autonomous and proactive attitude, result-oriented;
  • Sense of initiative, attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken;
