At Neoplants, the Chief of Staff reports directly to the CEO. It is a dynamic and multifaceted role that combines strategic leadership with solution oriented drive & hands-on execution. He / She provides strategic counsel to the CEO, facilitating decision-making processes and supporting key workstreams & initiatives such as Operations, Product Management, Fundraising or Marketing.
The Chief of Staff is the key facilitator between the CEO strategic challenges and the team’s day to day operations across the organization. His/ her ability to drive innovation, execution and efficiency within Neoplants is instrumental in achieving our long-term vision.
Main missions (but not limited to):
Work with the CEO on strategic and operational issues (e.g. oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads)
Work hand in hand with the CEO, Head of Finance and Operations as well as external partners (agencies, manufacturers, growers etc) to ensure all the parts of our products are being produced efficiently, meeting quality standards, and are in alignment with our overall business objectives and timelines.
Work directly with the CEO and lead external partners relationships on product roadmap and iterations, ensuring our ability to meet our customers’ expectations and to keep bringing radical innovations to market.
Support and lead special projects: market intelligence, business development, strategy, organization) and serve as an expert on any subject related to Neoplants’ business.
Work hand in hand with the CEO and Head of Finance and Operations to ensure all the parts of our products are being produced efficiently, meeting quality standards, and are in alignment with our overall business objectives and timelines.
Centralize information and act as liaison between staff, team leaders, CTO and CEO, regarding company performance and project updates, planning, strategic objectives and their follow-up.
Support in reviewing, designing, and executing improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity
Help the founding team prepare for board meetings and fundraising events
Attend all types of internal and external meetings with or in place of the CEO, to ensure follow-up on important projects at all times.

Required:
Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent, with 4+ years of experience
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling a very wide range of subjects
Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations or data and formulate effective strategies or solutions.
Extreme organization skills, rigor and attention to details
Strong bias to action and ability to work autonomously with little supervision
Project-reporting skills with focus on interdepartmental communications
Team spirit, good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in English
