The position

Job description

Main responsabilities :

  • Assist the Management Accounting (MA) team and provide clear and meaningful information on financial performance of APAC platform and Countries to management and business lines
  • Assist/Prepare Budget, Forecast and multi-annual strategic plans exercises to :
    • Collect and analyze the data,
    • Prepare support for Regional senior management
    • and articulate the communication in between local Head of Accounting and Paris Head Office Global Management
  • Assist MA team in Preparation, validation, distribution and animation of APAC Management Reports/presentations to business line managers and top Regional Management, Paris Financial Management team and local accounting team
  • Propose for automation of reports where possible using new BI tools such as creating and maintaining an early warning on expenses system
  • Position himself as a real business partner providing value added analysis and innovative ideas
  • Assist in the one off & ad-hoc strategic exercises such as business cases, regulatory request, one off presentation to senior Management, etc
  • Engage with the Client Office and Front Office departments on deal pipeline in business committees, leading the Return on Equity (RoE) calculation and other performance metrics readiness
  • Assist the APAC head of Strategy on various topics like feasibility analysis, townhall slides and talking points etc.

Preferred experience

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant.
Candidates should be university graduates/hold an internationally recognized accounting qualification, with experience in management accounting/consulting, preferably in Corporate and Investment Banking.
Key requirements include strong analytical and numerical skills, autonomy and flexibility. Candidates must work well in teams and manage stakeholder needs.
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to thrive in an international environment are essential. Oral and written communication skills in English are required; proficiency in Chinese or French is a plus.
Advanced PC skills, particularly in Excel (macros), are necessary. Familiarity with automation in Power BI and Power Query is preferred.
Knowledge of the Tagetik system is a bonus.
This position is exclusively for candidates eligible for the Business France V.I.E program: French or European citizens, aged 18-28, from a country other than the host country, and graduated.
