Team, Context and Missions

As a Product Technology Procurement Specialist reporting to a Senior Procurement Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the execution and management of the daily procurement activities such as purchasing, contract management, negotiations, supplier relationships and maintaining partner/ supplier networks.

You will also contribute to enhancing maturity of the procurement department by participating in projects related to process efficiency and new regulations.

Concretely you will:

· Collaborate with Internal Clients (Product division, Developers, IT, Information Security, SaaS team,  , …) to determine their procurement needs

· Formalize commercial and legal terms of contracts in close collaboration with the legal department

· Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and ensure compliance with the contract terms

· Maintain key contract and supplier information, to manage an up-to-date contract and supplier repository

· Regularly assess supplier risks and drive initiatives to improve quality and reduce costs

· Where appropriate, participate in proactively identifying and launching joint business initiatives aligned with Murex’s strategic objectives

· Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes, tools and policies, and support their implementation to enhance efficiency


Preferred experience

Your profile/Who are you?

Graduated from a Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a University, Engineering School or Business School specializing in Procurement or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a technological/fintech environment similar to ours and a strong interest in technological aspects (software, cloud, SaaS…)

Result-driven and able to understand and discuss the operational needs of internal clients with a critical mindset

Analytical and able to navigate through complexity (effective at interpreting complex and multiple sources of information to make decisions)

Highly organized with excellent collaboration skills

With a proven ability to build and manage relationships, both internal and external, and effectively influence executive management

Focused on continuous improvement with an able to eliminate non-value-added activities

Proficient in both English and French
