The position

Job description

The HR Generalist will be a key member of the Human Resources team, working closely with the Head of HR. This role will involve managing a diverse set of HR responsibilities, such as employee relations and facilitating employee growth through comprehensive training initiatives. Additionally, the HR Generalist will act as the primary point of contact for employees’ inquiries related to labor law topics.

Description

  • Employee Relations: Act as a liaison to address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and improve communication between employees and management.

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding, guiding employees throughout their career journey.

  • Employee Support & Benefits: Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and processes, supporting employee inquiries and assisting colleagues from other departments.

  • Training & Development: Lead the Learning and Development strategy, identifying training needs, collaborating with department heads, and evaluating program effectiveness.

  • Policy Development & Compliance: Help create and implement HR policies that comply with local laws, ensuring alignment with company guidelines.

  • Team Building & Engagement: Organize team-building activities to promote a positive culture, boost engagement, and foster collaboration.

Preferred experience

Requirements

  • Strong motivation to contribute to MSF principles and humanitarian mission

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist/Specialist in a multinational company

  • Knowledge of the Labor Code and other labor law regulations

  • Native in either Czech or Slovak, with full proficiency in English


Recruitment process

The recruitment process at MSF SITS usually follows three steps:

  1. Screening call

  2. 1st Interview - usually with the team leader & HR representative

  3. 2nd Interview - usually with the department leader
