SHORT DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the coordination of product innovation into sales and training over a market. S/He provides high-level technical expertise, advice and consultancy to the internal organization as well as customers and other targets (communities, schools, etc.).
Acts as the main contact for Motul HQ Product Department, in providing updated market insights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERIC
Marketing Support
Supports the Product Managers in translating product technology into product communication messagesSupports the Product Managers regarding competitor technical benchmarks.Collaborates with Product and Communication in developing materials related to productEstablishes, updates and disseminates to the sales force, tables of interchangeability of the products of the company with those of the competition,Updates product and online databases.
Product Technical Documentation
Oversees product documentation production (Homologations maintenance, SDS, TDS, PIM introduction) and stays up to date on current research.Participates in the drafting of the technical information contained on packaging labels,Responsible for coordinating registration procedures in institutions according to hazard levels.
Training
Develops, coordinates and delivers Technical and Practical training to customers and internal / external stakeholders,Develops training materials
Technical Assistance
Provides product information and technical support to customers and sales team Attends major events as requested to interact with the sales force and customers on all technical topics,Responsible for samples management and oil analysis, including laboratory selection and control,Maintains a record of technical incidents involving Motul products, including analysis of residual qualities of products, corrective actions from the customer and provides technical information to all concerned,Defines, in liaison with the subsidiaries, the importers and the quality department, how to deal with non-compliant products
Production
Provides quality control, sampling products produced locally,Participates in the development of certain ranges of products.
Attends and reports back on GPM bi-annual meetings.Translates to Marketing the End of Life planification and sends the local requirements back to Corporate.Responsible for the NPR procedures and requests to Corporate.
Support
Creates required certificates for customs.Carries out oil analysis and selects and monitors laboratories for sameProvides product information and technical support to customers and importers,
SPECIFIC
Conducts ad hoc projects as requested,Prepares Motul Technical materials for media publications,Presents on behalf of Motul on all possible forums Monitors and meets the needs of importers on issues of regulations and laws for the import or use of product.
Education / Qualification
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Sience and/or Business Management
Experience needed
+5 years’ experience in automotive industry,
Language
1. English: proficiency needed
3. French: would be a plus
IT Knowledge
1. Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
2. Knowledge of SAP
3. Ability to learn new systems quickly
