Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global account and partners, understanding and anticipating on their business needs and objectives:
    • OEMs at the Powersport, Passenger Car and Heavy-Duty level
    • International Buying Groups
    • Cross-country and global sales accounts at the retail and wholesale level within the Automotive industry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing support and coordination to accounts, as well as internal stakeholders:
    • At the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance level, in worldwide business units and at HQ level
    • With Business Units GMs. 
  • Proactively manage customer expectations, ensuring that all commitments are met or exceeded
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that the customer’s needs are being met by all relevant departments within Motul
  • Understand the customer’s competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate Motul's offer, including the gain of DV or share or wallet. 
  • Lead and coordinate the negotiations that include pricing and contract terms with customers, in collaboration with the Business Units and HQ. 
  • Develop long-term account plans that identify opportunities for growth and expansion, and stability. 
  • Monitor account activity and performance, flagging any potential issues and developing corrective action plans as needed
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, racing events, and other events on behalf of Motul, ensuring the connection between Key Accounts and our Motul´s team and strategy.

Preferred experience

Qualifications

 

  • In-depth knowledge of the Aftermarket sectors of either Passenger Car or Motorcycle industries, across several countries or regions of the world.
  • 5-year + experience with a major OEM in distribution or senior sales function, or with a premier brand of the industry.
  • Native or perfectly bilingual English, fluency in one or two European languages is a major asset.
  • Performance and result driven, extra miler, doer.
  • Robust knowledge of project management and accomplished use of project management tools and BI´s.
  • Data and analytics savvy.
  • Staff-driven. Robust convictions about the role of people in an organization, the role of an organization towards people.
  • Capacity to inspire others and be inspired by others.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
