Main responsibilities:

 

Experienced business development professional in bicycle / e-bike segment with a passion for the cycling world, a certain product/technical acumen, and a proven track record in this field. We expect you to have developed relationships and connections at international level with bike manufacturers, spare parts manufacturers and distributors, clubs, associations, workshops, federations, events, e-commerce pure players focused/specialized in Bicycles. You will be in charge of building go-to-market strategies and growing the sales of Bike maintenance & care products for the Group; closely working with both Motul HQ teams as well local referents in our multiple business units.

 

Your main assignments will be:

 

Ø  contributes to the definition of the global Bike strategy and supports its implementation locally whilst building actionable roadmaps for our Business Units,

Ø  defines business models, reviews and advises on policies – route-to-market, pricing, product mix and brand portfolio.

Ø  develops and increases sales revenue to exceed assigned targets in the Bike care segment through all relevant channels (global accounts, national and regional importers, distributors and wholesalers, e-tailers, retailers, clubs, associations, teams, workshops, etc.).

Ø  achieves global sales goals and supports Business Units in reaching local successes;

Ø  builds global go-to-market strategy and supports business units in their local adaptation

Ø  reviews and monitors sales performance periodically and refines local sales strategies as required. Works towards and monitors multiple sales KPIs (ROI, CM, etc.)

Ø  overcomes objections with persuasion and persistence;

Ø  initiates new contacts – search & acquisition of new distributors in order to build a solid distribution network;

Ø  maintains customer satisfaction;

Ø  maintains records and promptly submits information;

Ø  demonstrates proven knowledge and experience of creating and executing global and local Marketing & Promotion activities;

Ø  selects and implements proper marketing tools to increase the market share.

Ø  builds long-term business relationship with customers;

Ø  builds long-term business relationships with other players in the Bike industry – federations, associations, teams, clubs, event organizers, key opinion leaders, etc.;

Ø  builds long-term professional relationships with Motul colleagues in a matrix organization (with headquarter as well as with the business units);

Ø  global key account management;

Ø  represents Motul at fairs, bike events, federations, etc.;

Ø  makes presentations and mini trainings for BU’s and customers

Ø  successfully negotiates high value contracts with customers/ prospects.

Ø  manages a global budget and ensures its alignment with Business Units
