Your missions :

1- Lead the team

The team is currently composed by one data scientist and one senior machine learning engineer. As a manager you will be in charge of defining the objectives and key results with the team (OKRs), coordinate project management, and follow them to help them grow in their career journey.

2- Build the product

Your job will also be very hands-on, as you will participate with a full-stack to the implementation of the Data Science stack at Modjo. This involves the entire life-cycle of DS projects from sourcing them, participating in R&D phases, coding Proof Of Concepts, implementing for production, monitoring and continuous improvement.

3- Contribute to Modjo's vision on AI

"AI" is booming across all industries, but it often fails to deliver all its promises. Our product at Modjo is on a a true mission of leveraging state of the art's algorithms for relevant and impactful production applications. You will work on keeping this real, and not just some buzzwords or bullsh*t statements 💪

Your profile:

Mandatory :

- Min. 4 years of experience working in Data Science/ML engineering

- Previous experience in management

- Experience in putting and running models in production (cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring...)

- Knowledge on either LLMs, speech-to-text or voice recognition

- Strong python skills

- Very good English level (one english speaker in the team)

Optional / bonus :

- Good familiarity with AWS stack (EC2, Sagemaker, Lambdas, s3, cloudwatch...)
