The position

Job description

We are looking for a business developer to accelerate our power generation activity in the American market. The candidate will be based in the mid-Atlantic region and will be supervised by the Metroscope Regional Account Manager, USA.

Missions

Duties of the mission consist of the creation and follow-up of new customer accounts in the US along with strategic market analysis and outreach, according to the Metroscope US strategy for the launch of the local affiliate.

  • Getting accustomed and mastering our product through a very in-depth training (in Paris)
  • Building your own pipeline, partnerships and closed deals through prospection channels
  • Perform market research and analysis
  • Contribute to marketing content as needed to support prospection
  • Focusing on opening the market and expanding pipeline in the fossil power generation segment
  • Defining your goal achievement and providing feedback;
  • Contributing to the company sales strategy
  • Represent Metroscope by driving business development with company partners

Preferred experience

  • You have recently graduated from a business or engineering school;
  • You speak fluent English (C1),
  • You are content to travel at times when required for business meetings at client locations (limited to North American prospects and clients locations).
  • You have strong communication skills and show a good sense of responsibilities,
  • You have a strong interest for the energy sector & innovative technologies and for Franco-American cooperation.
  • You are interested to work in industrial and technical environments
  • You are content to relocate to Lynchburg, Southern Virginia, during 1 year or more
  • You are eager to develop strong relationships with C-level and to negotiate high-stake deals;
  • You are patient and tenacious as our clients are big industries with long decision-making processes;
