METRON is looking to appoint an Energy Project Manager to implement METRON’s solutions. Working from our Office in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), you will lead projects around Asia Pacific (“APAC”). The Energy Project Manager will lead projects from the platform implementation to a hand over with the client.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carry out an energy and digitalization assessment in order to identify, quantify and then implement energy-saving actions ;
• Implement the various solutions for integrating industrial customer data onto the METRON platform ;
• Manage projects and deliver on time with high client satisfaction :

1. Digitalization Assessments,
2. Digitalization Roadmap,
3. Platform Set Up,
4. Energy Roadmap,
5. Energy And Data Science Expertise,
6. Training, Workshops And Coaching.

• Control milestones and deadlines, Stakeholder Management, Meeting customer Need, Troubleshooting during the initial stage of customer utilisation ;
• Prepare and present the project milestones and deliverables to the client, including : presentations, analysis reports, dashboards, etc.
• Participate in the technical understanding of the customer’s needs during the pre-sales phase ;
• Master data Science tools and methodologies to detect energy efficiency opportunities, including : statistical models, digital energy mapping, energy dashboards ;
• Report to the Operation Manager of Kuala Lumpur office, anticipating risks and highlighting main issues ;
• Be a driving force for energy efficiency continuous improvement of METRON customers.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will enjoy working at Metron if you like a fluid, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment.
To succeed in this role you must have:

• Engineering degree with at least 5 years in a technical role on the energy field with clear references in the industrial world, preferably as energy consultant or energy manager in an industrial group ;
• Proven track record in project management and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time ;
• Extensive knowledge about energy systems, industrial processes, ISO 50001 and data modelling.
  Result oriented, analytically-minded, with a sense of urgency when necessary, able to handle pressure, and with good team spirit ;
• Strong leadership, communication and inter-departmental collaboration skills ;
• Fluent in English (fluency in local languages-Bahasa, Mandarin, Thai, is an added advantage) ;
• Available to travel on short notice.
