The position

Job description

METRON is looking for a native English speaker to be the next Content Specialist (H/F). Daily tasks will include producing and reviewing all types of outward-facing content (articles, whitepapers, keynotes, etc.) to make sure METRON presents an expert, educational and visionary voice within our market space.

This role reports to the Content Manager and will sit as part of the Marketing & Communications team. Based in Paris, you will work in a creative, exciting and demanding environment. You will take charge of content production in France and internationally.

Your role:

  • Create, write, and edit clear and engaging content that aligns with METRON’s tone of voice including our website, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, events, and other communications channels;
  • Monitor and improve the SEO performance of our web content;
  • Analyze content produced in our market space, spot articles and always look for new content formats and ideas that will benefit our overall content strategy;
  • Understand and track content-centric KPIs that reflect brand loyalty and growth.

Preferred experience

Your profile:

  • Native English Speaking with a grasp on American grammar, you have outstanding copywriting skills;
  • Student in journalism, communication, social studies, or cultural activities;
  • Experience with a variety of content formats (articles, blogs, whitepapiers, emails, social posts, presentations, etc.);
  • Literary background is a real advantage;
  • First experience in producing content for B2B;
  • SEO experience and web writing skills are an advantage but not mandatory (you are here to learn!);
  • You are interested in the startup / tech ecosystem and you are curious to better understand the challenges of the different phases of a startup’s life;
  • Your rigor, precision, collaborative-attitude, great sense of organization and autonomy will make the difference!
