We are seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen our financial team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing accounting processes, and serving as a key point of contact between various financial stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Control

  • Oversee the production of accurate financial statements for consolidated management reporting.
  • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, conducting financial analysis and ensuring reliable reporting.
  • Analyze financial performance (e.g., budget vs. actual, rolling forecast) to provide insightful variance explanations.
  • Reconcile bank statements, justify balance sheet accounts, and ensure accurate P&L reporting up to net income.
  • Monitor fixed assets and perform monthly intercompany account reconciliations.

Audits & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and compliant statutory accounting across multiple regions.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants, ensuring smooth audit processes and accurate reporting.
  • Guarantee adherence to internal financial controls and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the primary financial contact for operational departments regarding accounting, tax, and financial issues.
  • Bridge communication between regional offices, finance teams, and headquarters to streamline financial processes.
  • Provide technical support for financial projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring efforts.
  • Lead the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts, supporting strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in accounting workflows to support business growth and compliance.
  • Translate complex business needs into practical financial solutions.
  • Continuously seek ways to optimize cost control and improve financial reporting accuracy.

Kwalifikacje

Minimum 5 years' experience in finance, auditing, or accounting, ideally within the hospitality industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate financial data effectively.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and autonomy.
Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
Fluent in English (B2-C1 level), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Excel (pivot tables), Oracle BFC/Magnitude, or equivalent financial tools.
