The position

Job description

The founder is then looking for her Business Developer to quickly expand the brand at international level. He/she will play a decisive role in raising the brand at its full potential in a quickly growing category (+20% CAGR).

Working closely with the founder, you will

-       Identify countries and geographies where Lightinderm should expand (current targets include Europe, US, East Asia, Gulf Arab states, Brazil/Mexico, Australia)

-       Design appropriate business model and integrated business plans for each country based on France learnings

-       Identify local relays / distributors and notably beauty e-retailers that will be able to understand Lightinderm success drivers and drive local growth with expertise and autonomy

-       Close deals and manage distributors and local relays

-       Operationally lead international business growth, accountable for turnover and profit, building consumer-focused animation plans, with the support of the French team for the delivery of products, communication kits, multi-lingual e-commerce platform, customer care.


Preferred experience

Experience

-       Successful experience of building international business notably in target countries, small to medium-sized companies (PME)

-       Solid international network, able to connect to appropriate local distributors / ecosystems. Knowledge of beauty retailers but notably beauty e-retailers would be a real plus.

-       Experience of building omnichannel business with digital as lead channel in a high-end/luxury environnement

-       Experience of beauty/health/selfcare category would be a real plus

-       Immediately operational

Personal skills

-          Strong business sense, able to quickly seize opportunities and build Sales in a profitable way

-          Operational with knowledge of the “reality in the field”

-          Leadership and drive to i) initiate news paths/models to create business, ii) create partners’ commitment and iii) make things happen in a timely manner.

-          Entrepreneurial spirit, motivation and ability to work with autonomy in a start-up environment.

-          Ability to understand and appropriate the brand’s mission and values

-       Excellent communication. Fluent English.
