You will be integrated into the Biospringer R&D team and you will report to the Sensory & Flavor Development Manager. Your missions will cover a wide scope with a major responsibility for managing internal and external sensory panels, from consumer to expert, on a wide range of products (ingredients, savory products, sweet products, and drinks). You will be involved in the following missions:

  • Management of the sensory analysts of the team
  • Animation of sensory activities and implementation of new sensory methods and techniques
  • Management of the proper functioning of tasting panels for R&D, Global Culinary Center and regions
  • Use of the Fizz software, writing of reports and presentation of results and conclusions
  • Formatting and enhancing results with Applications and Marketing teams
  • Organization and animation of sensory training for Group internal stakeholders
  • Active participation in regular meetings and common-interest projects within the Lesaffre’s sensory network

These missions may evolve depending on your motivation, your skills, and the company's needs.


Preferred experience

  • Food engineering degree or equivalent university course with a specialization in sensory analysis, you have at least 8 years of experience in the field of sensory analysis including the animation of expert panels and project management. Experience in the field of ingredients or flavors would be a plus.
  • You have a first experience in management.
  • You master sensory analysis techniques and tools as well as FIZZ and Xlstat software.
  • You master project management techniques.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Reactivity and proactivity, adaptability and innovation skills, service orientation, and relational ease.
  • Autonomous and organized, you have the necessary rigor to carry out sensory studies and exploit them.
