The position

Job description

To support the launch of the new Cosmetics activity, we are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Cosmetics Business Development Director, (s)he will play a key role in driving the new activity forward developing and executing the overall marketing strategy & plan.

The role is the marketing lead in all customer projects, based on solid market insights, ingredients, customers, and consumer understanding.

Key missions are the following:

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy & plan
  • Conduct market researches and analyze data to identify market trends, competitiveness
  • Implement the communication strategy in terms of image, impactful sustainability pillars and frameworks, market positioning, value proposition in line with the group
  • Develop a marketing and sales plan for bringing the new products to market, value proposition, communication, pricing, distribution
  • Provide all communication tools through trade shows, leaflets, social media
  • Provide sales support in data & digital : implement CRM, customer portal, marketing automation
  • Recruit and manage a team, providing clear direction and performance feedback
  • Develop and manage a budget to support the marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and programs (Communication, Innovation, Sales, Market Intelligence, …)

Preferred experience

Education

- A scientific background (5 years' higher education in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, Master in cosmetics) is recommended

- A master's degree in marketing to complete this scientific base

- Fluent English

Professional experience

- At least 12 years' international experience in the Marketing and Sales with minimum 5 years in Marketing in the BtoB cosmetics sector, with excellent track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

- Ability to lead a team and projects with marketing professionals in a dynamic environment

- Strong understanding of cosmetics industry trends, products, competition, and regulations

- Prior experience in CRM and/or marketing automation platforms

- Knowledge in social media, web content management, digital marketing and marketing analytics.

- Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven insights to drive strategy, measure results, and forecast performance
