Since 2009, Lengow has been the indispensable e-commerce platform for multi-channel expansion in the European market: marketplaces, price comparison websites, affiliate marketing, display ad retargeting, social media, etc.

All jobs are open in Nantes/ Paris/ Barcelona.

We are currently seeking a talented Front-End Developer with expertise in HTML and CSS to play a pivotal role in migrating our existing Symfony/Twig-based frontend to React, ensuring a seamless and modern user interface.

⌨️ Your main tasks would be as follows :

  • Symfony/Twig to React Migration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers, to migrate the existing Symfony/Twig-based frontend to React.
    • Transform and optimize current HTML/CSS codebase to ensure compatibility and efficiency in the React environment.
  • Responsive Web Design:
    • Develop responsive web interfaces with our UX team to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience across various devices and screen sizes.
    • Set up and maintain a high-performance, reusable StyleGuide.
  • Component-Based Development:
    • Implement modular and reusable React components to facilitate code maintainability and scalability.
  • UI/UX Enhancement:
    • Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement design concepts, ensuring a visually appealing and intuitive user interface.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the front-end code, optimizing for speed and efficiency.
  • Code Quality and Standards:
    • Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and code reviews to maintain high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components seamlessly with Symfony backend functionalities.
  • Testing and Debugging:
    • Conduct thorough testing of front-end components, troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a stable and reliable user experience.
  • Documentation:
    • Document code changes, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of team members.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to front-end development, ensuring the application remains at the forefront of innovation.

🏹 We are looking for someone with the following experiences and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and a perfect knowledge of Vanilla Javascript.
  • Solid understanding of Symfony and Twig templating language.
  • Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
  • Experience with component-based architecture and state management in React.
  • Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of Atomic Design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as GitHub


  • Experience with e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies, especially Symfony.
  • Familiarity with build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm).
  • Understanding of RESTful API integration.
  • Already set up a high-performance StyleGuide system.
