Your role 🚀
Le Wagon is looking for a stellar profile to join us as VP People and be in charge of all the HR aspects working closely with the founders and reporting to the C-team. You will define and implement Le Wagon People strategy to support our growth and be a trusted point of contact for all wagoners. Main KPIs: employee NPS, average years in the company, turnover, diversity indexes.

Culture

  • Work with founders on Le Wagon’s employer brand and culture

Legal / ops

  • Create and improve our People processes as part of the overall People strategy
  • Be the general HR entry-point for all wagoners’ questions and requests
  • Work with Tech & Operations to create and improve a recruitment pipeline for freelance instructors.
  • Potentially recruit more experts in the People’s team to support our growth
  • Own the performance reviews process
  • Create and own salary grids to ensure consistency across markets
  • Implement a holiday tracking system across markets

Recruitment

  • Design and implement a standardized recruitment process
  • Support C-team recruitments with the first fit interviews
  • Train managers on how to recruit
  • Build Le Wagon’s employer brand
  • Ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for all candidates

Learning & Development

  • Lead onboarding and off-boarding processes (e.g. organization of quarterly onboarding weeks)
  • Set-up training options (e.g. manager training, how to give feedback, harassment, first aid, diversity) and launch a mentoring program
  • Create career paths and facilitate internal mobility

Employee engagement

  • Define (and standardizing when possible) policies/benefits across markets (remote work, maternity/paternity, holidays, covid, staff’s internal rules, health insurance, other benefits)
  • Run well-being initiatives
  • Run yearly happiness survey and set-up relevant action plan to increase results year-on-year
  • Lead inclusion and diversity initiatives
  • Discuss culture with Le Wagon’s co-founders and ensure our values are understood, lived and shared by all employees
  • Organisation of a yearly retreat with all the employees

Preferred experience

  • 8 years + experience in a People function
  • Passion for tech and education
  • Experience in a fast growing company
  • Experience with international teams
  • Experience in building an HR function from scratch is a big plus
  • Experience working abroad and with French labor law (or other laws) are a plus
  • Fluent in English & French. Additional European language is a plus.
