The position

Job description

The future position holder will support the Global VM Retail direction in windows & POSM production

MISSIONS :


  • Understand creative intent and translate it into tangible decor, taking into account various feasibility constraints
  • Transform design into specifications (design imponderables, materials, assembly techniques, specifications)
  • Call for tenders from several suppliers (3 minimum)
  • Develop solutions/materials in line with target budget, quality, easy installation and deadlines
  • Check technical drawings before launching prototypes, challenge supplier techniques & materials
  • Organize & present "window tests" for validation by management
  • Create window guidelines according to tiering strategy, window size and type (closed/open).
  • Check product push, key looks, mannequins dressing
  • Check proofs before production launch
  • Put dashboard online on our guidelines website (CX platform)
  • Create & communicate purchasing campaigns with purchase orders to markets
  • Consolidate orders for dispatch to production, administrative management (creation of references, management of quotations/invoices)
  • Control production and packaging to factory visits
  • Support & supervision of local production (Asia, EMEA, LATAM)
  • Monitor deliveries and check installations
  • Create instructions for product set-up and assembly
  • Organize & participate to video tutorials
  • Develop best practices and tools for successful project execution
  • Analyze and monitor showcase adoption rates & product performance
  • Conduct competitive intelligence on the rendering and production techniques of competing windows & POS Materials
  • Source new suppliers
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the position (elimination of duplication or non-value-added tasks)
  • Teamwork (Design, regions, markets, supply chain, brand strategy, etc)
