The position

Job description

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the completion of projects and technical support of users and systems across their assigned offices in Europe. You will have a hands-on approach and will work with other regional members to address issues of diverse scope.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Maintain applications (Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Windows, laptops encryption, etc.)

·         Use IT Service Management tool to monitor, respond and escalate user requests

·         Support and troubleshoot Windows and Apple operating systems including Windows 10, macOS 

·         Perform workstation and server hardware and software installations, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting

·         Deploy images to new workstations for Microsoft Windows and/or macOS via Kace and/or Jamf 

·         Manage to provision for new and existing employees across the organization

·         Provide tactical support for users addressing back office issues

·         Create and maintain the Gmail/user directory 

·         Support and prioritize incidents and requests from end users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, telecommunication, audio-visual and other IT technologies

·         Assistance and coordination with service providers

·         Recommend new technologies and upgrades where necessary

·         Adhere to and enforce company policies

 

Education, Experience, and Skills: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field strongly preferred

·         Three to five years’ experience providing help desk support to a technology organization, including remote desktop support

·         Microsoft Certification preferred

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Highly technically skilled and administratively organized

·         Ability to proactively work on problems of diverse scope

·         Exhibit tact, analytical and critical-thinking skills

·         Apply in-depth knowledge of company operations

·         Assertive and able to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment with a high level of energy and flexibility

·         Exceptional organizational, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills

·         Strong initiative, resourcefulness, and follow-through

Fluent in English

·         Experience with: Windows 7/10, Mac workstations, Dell Server hardware, Dell and HP Devices, Palo Alto Firewalls, Monitoring (Check_MK, Nagios), APC power and monitoring equipment, Telephony equipment, User Directory account management, Security products (Endpoint Antivirus and Encryption), Printer servers, Google Apps, Amazon S3/Glacier, Backups management (Veeam, Amazon), Jira Service Desk
